Social Distancing: Public Health officials, in consultation with the CDC, are making new recommendations that are meant to slow the spread of the coronavirus and reduce the number of people infected in areas where there are confirmed cases, including extreme social distancing. The CDC defines social distancing as avoiding mass gatherings and maintaining a distance approximately of three to six feet from others when possible.
